3/23/26: Hello. Just wanted to share that I may be late rating as I am traveling back to USA to attend my grandmother’s funeral. I am taking most swap-related items with me for the trip and expect to get everything out by the deadlines. Take care.

Please note I was an avid swapper prior to COVID. It seems my last swap didn’t make it to the recipient. Because of life events, I am just signing back in and noticing it on 3/6/26. I am trying to reach out to rectify it.

I am a mom of soon to be young adult and wife of 17 years. I live with my family and have no pets. I am a social worker and love crafting/being creative.

I am interested in learning about new cultures and eventually traveling around the world. I love newspaper prints, magazines, or anything printed in another language. I love paper in general. A lot of my hobbies include paper (planners, journals, origami, bookbinding).

I currently live in Japan and have access to a USA PO Box. This means my mail for regional USA swaps may still take a bit of time as it has to clear customs and I can’t always guarantee it’s not on a boat making its way to the USA.

I love R&B, hip hop and affirmation themed music. I am unfortunately using Spotify but my history shows lots of music from Megan Thee Stallion, Tank, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. I was getting into older R&B such as Al Green and I learned about domestic violence amongst many of them and am moving back toward newer artists previously listed.

In terms of affirmation music I like Chris and Teeb and Toni Jones.

I also like Kirby, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Yoruba (pianist).

I love romance novels. My favorite authors include Brenda Jackson, Beverly Jenkins, Rochelle Alers, Francis Ray and Gwynne Forster.

Self-help books and I have a love/hate relationship.

I also enjoy shojo mangas and appreciate craft tutorials.

I absolutely love movies. My ultimate favorites include Grease, The First Wives Club, and My P.S.Partner. There are a lot of other movies, I just can't think of them all. I also enjoy Studio Ghibli films.

I am also a fan of generic action films. If there’s a Jason Statham movie, I’m watching it.

My work can be very demanding so I prefer to indulge in nonsense when it comes to my movies and shows.

I am an entertainment junkie. I love Korean dramas, Jdoramas, anime, Sherlock, Dr. Who, Firefly, crime-based shows (Bones). To be honest, it is too much to list.

I am currently addicted to Chinese vertical dramas. They are nonsensical and a good distraction from world events.

I love learning different crafts. I am hoping to learn to sew, crochet, and knit. I enjoy drawing. I am also interested in learning new crafts using various media (i.e. watercolors, ATCs, bookbinding, etc.) I am also into origami.

I will pretty much fall in love with any swap sent to me but I don't like fruit cooked or as a a dessert (ex. fruit filled chocolate). I am also sensitive to smells and smoke.
