Happy Greetings!

I'm a neurodivergent historian, teacher, and former Yinzer living in Rochester, NY. I love any and all surprises, going on adventures with my spunky 8-year-old, hanging with my hubs, playing games (cards or board games), doing embroidery, rollerblading, camping, and cuddling with my cat.

Current Wish List Item: I'm trying to collect used stamps from the Carnival Nights series for my first junk journal. I adore old-fashioned amusement parks and carnivals and thought it would be a nice theme.

Favorite Crafts: I'm in a fiber arts kick at the moment. Currently, I'm working on a ghost camping cross-stitch pattern by The Flossy Fox Shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/FlossyFoxShop)

I'm also working on a design for a textured embroidery piece.

I love to knit, but I'm terrible at it! My cat, Captain (Lord of the Seven Sills) enjoys the habit more, I think!

Tea Swaps: I enjoy a good cuppa! I love white (plain or flavored) and black (plain or flavored) teas. I'm a huge fan of Irish breakfast, Horchata, and sesame-based teas. My current favorite is the Harney and Sons Lunary New Year 2025 blend.

I enjoy cherry, orange, lemon, pineapple, peach, mango, and strawberry teas. I don't mind rooibos, especially if it's paired with an interesting flavor. I enjoy rose and floral tea, but cannot have lavender (allergic).

I can't have any teas with lavender (I'm allergic) or mint (if you've sent one, don't despair—my husband loves it).

I haven't found a chocolate-based tea I like, but I'm willing to try something new!

All to say, surprise me! As long as it doesn't have lavender or mint, I will try anything at least once!

Movies The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogies, the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings cartoons (70s and 80s), Legend, Clue, Vincent Price movies, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (and Studio Ghibli in general), the Craft, Practical Magic, Marvel Cinematic Universe (Iron Man, Loki, Guardians of the Galaxy are favs) (this list will likely grow as I remember more)
