I'm a transplanted West Virginia girl living in Orlando, Florida. I miss mountains and trees. I'm actually starting to miss snow... I never thought that would happen!

I read constantly. I love general fiction and historic fiction. I'm not really into romance or science fiction.
I love vintage quilting and knitting books.

I'm not a huge movie watcher but I have seen Steel Magnolias, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, Dog Show, and Austin Powers 1 & 2 about a zillion times each.

I'm sorta a hippy. I love Phish & The Grateful Dead. Yonder Mountain String Band. I love the Avett Brothers. I'm also into traditional Appalachian music - traditionals and blue grass.
I also collect vinyl record albums.

I enjoy knitting and spinning. I have dyed fiber and yarn using acid dyes, kool-aid, and wilton's icing dyes. I would love to try using natural plant dyes.

Fabric is my other obsession. I like sewing quilts, clothing, pillows, and all sorts of home accesories. Mostly I like working with cotton fabric but I'm open for anything.

I collect red picture frames.

I love bright colors. My favorites are Magenta and Kelly green but I love to mix and match.
I don't so much like... country kitchen colors - sage green, tan, country dusty blue.
