What's the first thing you think when you think about France, or Japan, or Colombia? Here's a list of States/Countries of the world: for each one, you have to write a list of words (at least three) that remind you of that Country. For example: France --> Eiffel Tower, fois gras, Sarkozy, Mont Saint Michel, champagne... You'll send the list to 5 partners. (I included also states of the USA as single Countries, I hope this is not a problem) Afghanistan Argentina Australia Austria Brazil California Cameroon China Cuba Denmark Egypt Ethiopia Finland France Germany Greece Haiti India Ireland Italy Jamaica Japan Madagascar Maine Mexico Morocco Netherlands New York Romania Russia Spain Texas Turkey Ukraine United Kingdom Vatican City General rules: newbies are welcome but I will check each profile so if you have some latest 1s or 2s, please send me a message if you can explain that. DON'T write in the list anything offensive, like: Italy --> mafia or Afghanistan --> talibans.

Uh..these are technically Countries, not States.

I thought this was going to involve some kind of associations with states, like "Massachusetts=Boston Baked Beans, Lobster, Red Sox Baseball", and "Florida=Kennedy Space Center/NASA, Disney World, Flamingos", etc.....

I think the title is confusing, since it doesn't really involve States at all.

I'm sorry, it's just a language mistake, as in my language Countries and States are synonyms. I'm sorry for my bad English :)

No problem Virou - we get the idea.

I have signed up - love association swaps interesting to see how many we get the same and sometimes I surprise myself by what pops into my head - LOL (laugh out Loud).

If you run it again may suggest an alternative title like - Places & Ideas .......just a thought
