This swap is for those of us who grew up, but never became normal and are very clearly never going to even though it kinda seemed like that was supposed to happen! Whoops! This will be my third time hosting this swap, if it sounds familiar.

If you are eccentric, quirky, have obsessions/interests that people don't "get" or find annoying, are a loner or overly gregarious, and don't really fit in -- whether you're proud to stand out loudly and vibrantly or struggle with loneliness and exclusion -- welcome. You may participate. Let's get that old school snail mail vibe going and have some fun!

RULES:

• one introductory letter to one partner

• letter may be handwritten or typed, minimum 2 pages handwritten or 1 page typed -- but feel free to write more!

• read your partner's profile! I can't stress this enough! Please reference what you've learned about them or ask questions to make it more personal. This means you must have a well-filled profile to join

• please use stationery or decorate your pages -- make sure it's fun, pretty, or interesting to look at

• send in a decorated envelope. It doesn't need to be anything crazy, even just some stickers or washi is sufficient

• include at least one tuck-in that you think your partner will like -- again, check their profile! If you don't really have anything they'll love, 2 forever stamps is a pretty safe bet

• try to make this fun to receive in general! I really do want to maintain some of the old school mail vibe, if you know what I mean

• we all have different goals, different limits, and are at different places in life. Please be open to receiving mail from someone much different from you, and remember that this swap is all ages (18+)

THE LESS FUN RULES:

• 4.95 minimum, no unexplained 3's and no 1's that you have not attempted to resolve. No justified 1's in the past year.
