✂ Collage Slam Booklet– USA only

If you already have a collage slam booklet from a previous swap, add in your collage and send to your partner in this swap.

If you are new to this type of swap, start by making a booklet, the inside pages can be copier paper, white mixed media paper, lighter weight watercolor paper, paper bag (cut to size) -- or a mix of these papers cut to size).

All together you will need is 1 piece of paper (8.5” x 11”), cut in half & then folded in half (8.5 X 5.5”, folded in half like you would make a greeting card), plus a cover. You can use decorative cardstock as your cover. The booklet should fit in an envelope used for a 4.25” X 5.5” card. This will keep the postage rate down.

Collage Slam Booklet For: (this can be for yourself OR another person such as a past swap partner, or a friend [but not the partner you are matched with in this swap]), include your/their mailing address since the booklet will be mailed back to you/them when the pages are filled.

The person creating the original collage slam booklet (that’s you), will add a collage to their booklet before sending it off to their partner. Fill the first page (or inside cover) in your booklet along with your name & swap-bot name. The partners that receives your original booklet will add one collage to a blank page in your booklet, along with their name and swap-bot name (I use a small return address label w/ name & swap-bot name included)

Only collage one page, please. You can collage directly into the booklet or create the piece first and then glue into the booklet. Please don’t add bulky items to your collage, keeping it as flat as possible. Please do not add sequins, glitter, feathers nor other childish, glued on additions. Please, no sticker slapping, but okay to add if it enhances the collage.
