This might be difficult for even me, with a huge collection of covers! Here's the idea for this CD swap. Let's make a CD for 2 partners of at least 15 COVER songs.

When you put together the CD, connect the covers from cover artist to cover artist, for example:

  1. a Beatles cover
  2. a cover done by the Beatles
  3. a cover done by the person the Beatles covered in #2 4 a cover done by the person covered in #3.

Does this make sense? If you come to the end of a chain of songs and you're stuck, either use a different cover of the same song to get yourself going again, or start another chain of songs. Sound interesting?

Please have at least a 4.5 rating and newbies welcome with a well filled out profile.

I'd love to join, but that sounds too confusing - I read it 3 times, and I get the gist of it, but I don't think I have a collection that large that would work for it - I can see by your example of only 8 songs you go too quickly into the past, Wille Nelson would be hard to follow up for songs 9 and 10.... if you could do this differently.....

BTW, what I meant from my last post was that personally, I'd be happy to just get a CD of covers - the links between people can be 2 or 3 songs in a row, then you can start over if you need to.

i think i'm going to watch it and try to put together a list. i have so many covers of old stuff, 70's and 80's, i'm sure i'll get stuck once i do a jump back from Soft Cell.

Hmmm.. Got 13 linked, I think I'll just toss in a couple of my favortie covers to make up the 15, 'cause for the life of me I can't connect in another 2 without getting too repetitive!

This was loads of fun to do, I'll get it sent off within the next couple of days :D I want to find more like this
