Women of the Bible

Let us start a new series of Bible study swaps focusing on the women of the Bible beginning with the book of Ruth.

For this swap:

1) Read the book of Ruth. (It is only 4 short chapters.)

2) Write a letter to your partner including: a) your favorite verse (sender's version of choice), b) a brief description of Ruth, Naomi and Orpah, c) explain which woman you relate to and why, and d) tell something new God revealed to you in your study.

3) Include a flat surprise

4) Most importantly enjoy and have fun!

There are so many great women to choose from. I have always enjoyed looking at those women whose names we don't always even know.

I think it would be interesting to look at Jezebel and Delilah they were "bad" women :-( Think it would be fun to pick a certain woman and have each other research through the Bible and other commentaries and dictionaries and write what we find out about that woman. Be interesting to see what each of us would find and whether it would be similar or totally different.
