Description:

Participants will be creating a card and decorating an envelope for their partner incorporating a specific color washi tape. This swap will be for any BLACK & WHITE washi tape.

  • Create a card using any BLACK & WHITE washi tape somewhere in the design

  • You then must decorate the envelope, in which you will mail the handmade card, with any BLACK & WHITE washi tape too. The envie to be decorated can be store bought or handmade.

  • The handmade card may be to your partner i.e.(signed by you) or for your partner to use in the future i.e.(unsigned by you).

  • If the card you are making is for your partner's future use, the card made can be a blank notecard or have a theme- i.e.(ThankYou, Birthday, Get Well, etc.)

  • If you want, other embellishments may be used in the creation of the card and envie mail art.

Hey love! One of our officers has a similar swap to this one going on. Plus this group is USA only. <3 Maybe a different color other than yellow? :)

Yeah I just realized this too. I had hosted this swap series in another group and thought it would be great for this group too, but since there is already a similar swap in this FTLOW, I'll have to think how to differentiate my series from the other series being hosted.

OK, so I changed my swap from yellow to BLACK&WHITE washi tape for the washi wonder card&envie swap and I pushed back the 'sign up' and 'send by' dates.

Are we sending samples with this swap as well?

@KattB68 You do not have to send samples to your partner unless you want to. The emphasis on this swap is to show how you like to create with Washi :-)
