Here is a good ol fashioned musical scavenger hunt! This CD might take more time than the traditional mixxxed CD, but I think the results will be worth it! You only have to send 1 CD to one partner. The track listing must be as follows:

  1. A song by a band / artist with only one word in their name (ex: Beck, ABBA, etc)

  2. A cover version of a song

  3. A foreign song

  4. A short song (1 min or under)

  5. A long song (5 min or over)

  6. A song from a movie soundtrack

  7. Your #1 most played song (If you don't have an Mp3 player that calculates this, just add a song that you seem to be listening to constantly)

  8. A song that reminds you of God / Spirituality (doesn't have to be a Christian or religious song, just something that makes you think about a higher power)

  9. A favorite song from childhood

  10. The sweetest love song ever... in your opinion

  11. A very tragic / depressing song

  12. A song that contains lyrics that you really connect with (feel free to include your favorite lyric from the song on the track list!)

  13. A song has an animal in the title

  14. A song by an artist that is dead

  15. A song that you love in a genre that you normally hate (for example, if you hate country, but there is one country song that you do like)

  16. If you have room A song that you have recently discovered and can't stop listening to

This is an International Swap and is okay for newbies as long as your profile is complete! I will ban any shady swappers! Let me know if you have any questions!

*********UPDATE********** Here are a couple of more things to look for, feel free to pick and choose... If you have more room on the disk, that is!!

A song with the word "Hell" in the title

A jazz song

A song that features an unusual instument (something besides the typical guitar / drums etc)

A song with a very long title (5 words or more)

is it important to have all songs by different artists, or can the same artist appear a few times on the cd ? :3

I think you can have the same artist a couple of times... try to have some variety though :)

King Kong counts as an animal, right? LOL! I can actually fit more songs than this on a CD...could you give us some more things to look for [that can be optional]? I'd just hate to waste the extra space.

This looks like alot of fun! Just to let the person who gets me as a partner to know not to put country on the cd. I would like to listen to the cd I get, but for personal reasons I can't listen to country songs. Thanks!

Yay, I sent mine out. I really hope my partner likes the cd :) This is my first official swap-bot swap and one of the more fun cds I've made. :)
