This swap is for all of you who love long, chatty letters! A fat envelope from a penpal, full of news and gossip, is one of my favourite things to receive and I thought this swap would be a good way for like-minded people to meet.

You will have one partner (if you're anything like me, a long letter can take a couple of days to write!) and the purpose of the swap is to write your partner a long introductory letter (at least 3 A4 pages both sides). It doesn't just have to be about yourself, you can chat away too, the aim is to encourage your partner to respond.

Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile, if you have any recent 3s or 1s and wish to take part please contact me first to explain the circumstances. I reserve the right to block anyone with a questionable history. I'm prepared to angel this swap (or find a volunteer to angel) but be patient as I'm UK based.

I sent my letter off yesterday but wasn't able to log in until today. Also I am worried that it won't arrive due to how the envelope is, if my swap partner doesn't receive it within 2 weeks (maximum) then I will re-write the letter again.

Ok, we're approaching two weeks after the swap date. If you've not received your letter and had no communication from your sender can you message me please? I know of one person who will definitely need angelling so could one of my two lovely volunteers please contact me for details of who that is?
