Obake is ghosts, spirits. Nuuu looks like the sound they make? Like a cute 'boo,' if it could be adorable. Believe it or not, Detroit is one of the places I've wanted to visit for at least a week maybe, just for the history. There is a Ghost Tour in Ybor nearby. It's a very old part of Tampa area and of course, full of rampant crime. Easy to get away with when right near the water, since you can just carry bodies in and out. The most famous haunted 'house' is either the TB hospital, now something else, or Centuro Asturiano, the Cuban Club. There is a not-child living in the CC. For almost 100 years, people have talked about this child but I think it's odd. He never gives the same name, only a plausible generic name for whatever people he's around. He loves to attach to people. There are things like this, that isn't a kid. I ain't the religious sort, but I've been down to the basement floor. It isn't human at all. But convince others of that... Ah well. Hopefully the last manager I met has stopped giving it things when she started to get sick. *Another thing ghost -children- can definitely do to you, right?*

Comment: We used to go to Charlevoix to our WINSUM place all summer and for time in the winter. We had a small private beach on Lake Michigan at Michigan Shores. I had my two little girls and four stepchldren. My husband came when he could. They all learned to swim up there. Also, my babysitter came with us, and then her younger sister. It was one of the happiest periods of my life. Lots of rain here too. We went there from Chicago area then. They are moving on in age themselves now.
